A part in another colour
Every part lifts off its magnets, so a new shade, top or base changes the lamp without replacing it. Each one is sold on its own, in any colour.

Every lamp is printed to order, one fine layer at a time, entirely in PLA.
- Translucent PLA
- The parts that glow - shades, orbs, diffusers. Printed as two walls, 0.84 mm together, so the light comes through the material itself. Colour changes the light as much as the look: light colours fill a room, darker ones glow more quietly.
- Matte PLA
- Bases, backplates, rings, bands, caps, tops, collars and feet. Opaque, printed thicker, in the colours that frame the glow.
- PLA
- Printed entirely in PLA, a plastic made from plant sugars - from crops such as corn - instead of oil.
- Layer lines
- Faint lines one layer apart run round every printed part. They are how the lamp was made, and lit, they are part of the picture.
- Heat
- Use LED bulbs only - every lamp comes with one - never incandescent or halogen, which run far hotter than a printed lamp is made for. Keep the lamp out of hot direct sun.
- Care
- Indoor use. Dust with a dry cloth or a soft brush; keep solvents and harsh cleaners away from the printed parts.
- Colour
- Tint can vary slightly between spools. For lamps that must match, order them together.

Screws or tape
A morning job, not a trade job
A printed cleat goes on the wall first, on two screws or on 3M VHB tape, where the paper template in the box says; the lamp drops onto it and finds its own centre. The flex reaches an ordinary socket. Nothing is cut into a wall and nothing is certified, because nothing is wired into the building.

The face lifts off
The diffuser holds onto its backplate with magnets: lift it off to change the bulb, and it clicks back.
Switched
On the flex, at hand height
An in-line switch on the cable, so it works like a lamp rather than needing the wall plate a hard-wired light would.
LED only
A cool bulb for a closed shell
The face closes round its bulb, so it ships with a G45 LED and nothing hotter should ever go in it: a printed face is not made for the heat of an incandescent or halogen bulb.

What it is made of
Translucent where the lamp glows, matte for the trim, printed one fine layer at a time. Printed entirely in PLA, a plastic made from plant sugars - from crops such as corn - instead of oil.
Each spool varies very slightly in tint, so two lamps bought months apart may not be an exact colour match. For lamps that must match, order them together.
Which bulb, and why it matters
LED only, 6 W or less, and this one is not a preference.
Never an incandescent or halogen bulb: inside a closed shade it runs far hotter than a printed lamp is made for. A 6 W LED runs far cooler, which is why only LEDs are allowed. Every lamp ships with its LED.
2700 K is the warm white these are rendered and finished against. Keep the lamp out of hot direct sun as well.
