Which plug comes with your lamp
Every plug-in lamp is fitted for the country it is delivered to. You do not choose it; the delivery address does.
Plug and voltage by country
The plug is set from the delivery country at checkout, and you are shown it before you pay.
| Delivered to | Plug | Mains |
|---|---|---|
| Malaysia, Singapore, Hong Kong | UK 3-pin (Type G) | 220–240 V |
| Australia, New Zealand, China | Australian / Chinese 3-pin (Type I) | 220–240 V |
| Thailand | European 2-pin (Type C) | 220–240 V |
| Taiwan, Canada | North American 2-pin (Type A) | 110–120 V |
What does not get a plug
Pendant lights end in a ceiling rose, not a plug: they replace an existing ceiling fitting, which is a job for an electrician.
Single parts bought from an Accessories page come without a cord set: they fit the lamp you already have.
A longer cord
Every plug-in lamp comes with 2 m of twisted fabric cord between the lampholder and the plug, with an in-line switch on it.
Need a longer reach? A 3 m cord set - the same lampholder, switch and plug for your country, with 3 m of cord - is coming soon to the Accessories pages of Table Lamps, Mini Lamps and Plug-In Wall Sconces.
Moving country
A lamp fitted for 220–240 V should not be used on 110–120 V mains, or the other way round, with only a plug adapter. Ask us on WhatsApp and we will tell you what would need changing.
