Caring for a printed lamp
A printed lamp asks for very little: a dry cloth, an LED bulb, no solvents and no hot direct sun.
Cleaning
Dust with a dry cloth or a soft brush. Keep acetone, solvents and harsh cleaners away from the printed parts. Indoor use only.
What is normal
Fine horizontal lines across the surface: each is one layer of the print, and lit from inside they are part of how the lamp looks.
A slight difference in tint between two lamps of the same colour, because each is printed from its own spool. For lamps that must match, order them together.
Heat
Never fit an incandescent or halogen bulb: inside a closed shade it runs far hotter than a printed lamp is made for. A 6 W LED runs far cooler, which is why only LEDs are allowed, and every lamp ships with its LED. Keep the lamp out of hot cars and hot sun - a sunny windowsill behind glass, or a parked car, gets hotter than it looks.
If a part breaks or you want a new colour
The parts are joined by magnets, so any one lifts off. Each is sold on its own from the Accessories page of its family: a new shade, a base in another colour, a spare top ring.
